Nathaniel is the first Seraphim ever created by God and is extremely powerful even for an angel and is almost as powerful as the archangels. He and his twin-sister Hannah were born almost immediately after God and the Archangels locked away The Darkness, while the other seraphs were created a few hundred or so years afterward's. But still before the universe was created, making them Primordial Angels.
History[]
Nathaniel is the first of 7 Seraph's created by God, making him the 5th angel ever created after the 4 archangels. During the war in Heaven in the distant past, Nathaniel sided with God and helped Michael and the armies of heaven, put Lucifer in a cage within hell after he turned Lilith into a demon. Later, in the year 2018, Nathaniel took Jared Bartholomew as a vessel and turned his life around, getting him multiple different girlfriends as well as multiple different friends. One girlfriend got pregnant, or at least that he knew of as another one got pregnant as well. The one he knew about was Lindsay being pregnant with the Nephilim, Nathan, but the one he didn't find out about until months later was Lisa being pregnant with the Nephilim, Sarah. Now Nathaniel along with his brother Raziel, fight the forces of heaven and hell in order to protect their families.
Early History[]
In the beginning, there was nothing, but then God came into existence and he created the 4 Archangels. Michael The first born and Gods most trusted, Lucifer the rebel and gods favorite, Raphael the healer and patron for doctors, and Gabriel the family man and the youngest of the archangels. The four archangels along with God drove The Darkness away and locked him up, allowing God to finally create the universe and everything in it, including the other angels. Nathaniel was the first non-Archangel Angel and was assigned to protect the garden of Eden, along with the first ever humans, Adam, Lilith, and eve. Nathaniel fell into a forbidden love with the human Lilith and tried his hardest to keep it a secret, but his best friend and younger brother, Raziel, figured it out pretty quickly and would constantly make fun of him for it, but would still keep it a secret to the other angels. Eventually, the other angels and God found out about Nathaniel's and Lilith's forbidden love and Nathaniel was taken by Michael to heaven's jail and was tortured by Kemuel and when Kemuel left for a minute, Raziel snuck into the jail and gave Nathaniel the key to his cuffs before teleporting back to his post. When Kemuel comes back, he takes Nathaniel back to the garden and gets him ready for his execution and when Michael asked him if he had any last words, Lilith came running towards them, begging for the angels to let him go and instead take her. At that moment, an angel told that they were going to kill them both, and when Nathaniel heard that, he broke free from his cuffs and stole Kemuel's sword. At that moment, a blast of pure bright white light came down struck Nathaniel and he was teleported to God's throne room and when he saw God, Nathaniel got down on bended knee and was ready to be smited. But God gave him a second chance and when Lucifer rebelled, Nathaniel sided with God and helped Michael ban Lucifer to earth, where he corrupted the humans and turned Lilith into the first demon, and when Nathaniel found out about this, his heart was broken, and he threw Lilith into hell while Michael threw Lucifer into a cage at the bottom of hell.
Nathaniel had to spend years regaining everyone's trust, and in the year 2018, Nathaniel took Jared Bartholomew as a vessel since he was his true vessel as well as his original vessel was destroyed during the war in heaven. Even though he has Jared as a vessel, he still appears to the angels in heaven as his original vessel and when he is inside someone's mind, whether it be while he's possessing them or while he's dream walking. He did some heavenly missions with Raziel and Kemuel, but eventually, he tried to see what it was like to be human and got on Jared's bus to go to his school, which is called North Nova High School or NNHS. While on the bus, he met a girl named Lisa Murray. They got to talking and he asked her out, the two dated for months and she ended up getting pregnant with his child and never told Nathaniel about it. When the two broke up, he went to multiple other girls and had some one-night stands. Eventually, he met another girl named Lindsay Mackay and at first, she said no as she had a boyfriend. Nathaniel ended up going up on stage and started singing a song to her and made her fall in love, Lindsay's boyfriend ended up walking over towards him and told him to back away from his girl or he'll get it. Nathaniel gets up from his seat and tells him to go ahead and hit him and when he does, it breaks every bone in his hand and he runs away crying. Lindsay and Nathaniel started dating and had a child together and this time, she told him about unlike Lisa, and when a hit was put on both Lisa and Lindsay and so Nathaniel, along with Raziel, have to do whatever it takes to protect their families.
Personality[]
Nathaniel acts like the stereotypical angel as he's polite and humble, although he's also sarcastic and joking, and he'll do whatever it takes to protect the ones he loves. He follows orders...maybe a little too much, as when God told his angels to love humanity, he went and started screwing one of the humans. He and Lilith had a forbidden love, as it is forbidden for angels and humans to have a relationship as to not create a Nephilim. He loves his twin sister Hannah more than anything and even wears a string with a ring attached to it that Hannah gave him as a reminder of her around his neck. He can get extremely pissed if anyone threatens him or his family.
Powers & Abilities[]
As the 5th Angel ever created and the first of the 7 seraphs, Nathaniel is extremely powerful. While not as powerful as an archangel, he is way more powerful than any other angel that's beneath him.
- Lower Tier Nigh-Omnipotence - Nathaniel has a tremendously vast supply of power; he can accomplish almost anything he desires with only some exceptions. Only God, the Darkness, Death, and the Archangels can defeat him. He is far older than The Universe itself.
- Advanced Regeneration - If his vessel becomes damaged in any way, he is able to heal it instantly and completely. For instance, his vessel Jared was set ablaze by Holy Fire, but upon his return minutes later, he didn't have a scratch either on his skin or even his clothing. He can also regrow his wings faster than any angel, other than his twin sister and the Archangels.
- Clairsentience - Nathaniel was able to detect the power and life of his unborn son.
- Energy Blasts - Nathaniel was able to launch red energy blasts at Alternate Nathaniel, which did no visible damage. Nathaniel was then able to use the same attack to injure Nathaniel.
- Highly Advanced Reality Warping - Nathaniel can alter reality. He can create anything he wants out of thin air and can even put people in a TV universe. He was also able to bring back Hannah's original vessel, even though it had been dead since the garden.
- Highly Advanced Conjuration - Nathaniel can create anything out of thin air. He was able to create a car outta fin air.
- Self-Duplication - Nathaniel was able to create multiple copies of himself.
- Angelic Possession - Nathaniel requires a vessel to walk on earth, he must also have the vessels consent.
- Wings - Nathaniel, like angels, has wings and they are retractable. As a Seraph, Nathaniel has 4 bright white wings.
- Smiting - Nathaniel is able to destroy low to mid-level demons with a simple touch, however, the demon has to be in a host body, as this doesn't work on their smoke form. However, he can grip a demon's smoke form and force it back into a host body to smite the demon. He can also use it to kill monsters and humans.
- Dream Walking - Nathaniel can appear in people's dreams, he usually uses this to communicate, when he can't find the person they're looking for or want to talk privately.
- Electromagnetic Interference - Nathaniel can manipulate electrical appliances. He used this to shut off an annoying song on the radio with a wave of his hand.
- Flight - When Nathaniel is disembodied on Earth, he can fly anywhere he desires, usually in the form of bright smoke or pure light. While he has wings, he can only use them to levitate and not actually fly unless in heaven or hell.
- Immortality - Nathaniel does not age and cannot be killed by any ailment or mortal damage. He has existed since the beginning of time.
- Invulnerability - The only things capable of killing Nathaniel is Angel Blades, Holy Fire, a stronger angel, Death, God, and The Darkness.
- Localization - Nathaniel can localize any human who is not protected by Enochian sigils.
- Apporting - Nathaniel can teleport anyone or anything.
- Teleportation - Since he can fly while in a vessel, Nathaniel is able to teleport from one place to another, instantly.
- Chronokinesis - Nathaniel can travel through time, in either direction. He can also take others with him, and just send others without going himself.
- Protective Charm - As an angel, Nathaniel can protect an individual from most forms of physical damage. This degree of protection is linked to an angel's power.
- Advanced Healing - Nathaniel can cause the wounds, diseases, and toxins of another being to heal instantaneously.
- Highly Advanced Holy Red Light - A particularly lethal power, Nathaniel can unleash a highly concentrated blast of pure energy from his palms to destroy targets. The level of destruction can be controlled. He was also able to thousands of people in a small village while looking for a vessel. His energy is red as it's the color of his halo.
- Advanced Pyrokinesis - Nathaniel can generate and manipulate fire. Nathaniel was proficient enough to kill another angel, Daniel, by setting him ablaze from within. Interestingly, this didn't simply destroy the vessel, it also killed the angel, suggesting the fire had a supernatural element to it.
- Advanced Resurrection - Nathaniel was able to bring both Lisa and Lindsay back to life after they were killed by giving birth to a Nephilim.
- Sedation - Nathaniel is able to render humans unconscious with a touch.
- Super Stamina - Nathaniel never tires, and does not require food, water, oxygen, or sleep to sustain himself.
- Highly Advanced Super Strength - Nathaniel was able to snap a guys neck with one hand, he was able to throw an angel through a brick wall, he was able to break a guys arm with one hand and so much more... As a Seraph, Nathaniel can defeat anything that isn't, God, the Darkness, Death, or an Archangel, although he was able to kill Lucifer, but by cheating.
- Super Senses - Nathaniel enhances his vessels senses to superhuman level. Nathaniel possess an acute sense of smell. His sense of smell is heightened to the point where he can identify people by smelling their body, bone or by their blood. Nathaniel can also identify people by sniffing their genes and hormones as well. Because he operates on a different plane of existence, Nathaniel can see atoms and ions which are impossible for humans to see. Nathaniel can hear a humans conversations miles away from them, and he is somehow able to locate any human on the planet and find them, but he can't locate people if they are protected by an Enochian charm or symbol.
- Supernatural Perception - Nathaniel is able to see almost all supernatural activity around him. Nathaniel could even see Reapers, which remain invisible except to those they are seeking. He can also see demons and Hellhounds. He can also sense any location, being, or object not protected by Enochian Symbols. This perception also extends to electromagnetic waves and can decipher radio modulation signals, as Nathaniel described himself as a "multidimensional wavelength of celestial intent" in his true form and can thus perceive such energies.
- Telekinesis - Nathaniel is able to telekinetically move beings and objects with his mind. He is able to use this power in a more aggressive manner like demons but is often not depicted as doing so.
- Telepathy - Nathaniel can read the minds of other angels with if they have the permission of the angel, Nathaniel can also read humans minds. He can also hear "Angel Radio". He was also able to see Katie's memories by placing his hand on her forehead.
- Advanced Terrakinesis - His presence alone was able to destroy an entire village, Turning it into a pile of rubble.
- Temporal Awareness - Nathaniel is capable of becoming aware whenever any alteration occur within the time-stream, allowing them to discern alternate timelines and the like. With this, Younger Nathaniel was able to identify other time-travelers in this manner.
- Voice Mimicry - Nathaniel can perfectly mimic the voice of mortals.
- Cosmic Awareness - Nathaniel has superhuman knowledge of the universe.
- Electrokinesis - Nathaniel could produce powerful arcs of electricity that appeared from his back.
- Molecular Combustion - Nathaniel is able to render beings, including lower angels, down to their component molecules, causing them to explode.
- Precognition - Nathaniel was able to see a glimpse of the future.
- Shapeshifting - Nathaniel takes the form of his original vessel while in someone's head or while he's in heaven. He also took the form of a bunch of different celebrities in order to prank some people.
- Thermokinesis - Nathaniel demonstrated the ability to freeze a pane of glass with his breath. His presence can cause an entire town to drop in temperature. Nathaniel could also do the opposite and caused a door handle to heat up intensely.
- Weather Manipulation - Nathaniel was able to generate storms that caused blackouts over the entire Eastern Seaboard. Nathaniel unleashed incredibly fierce winds and also caused thunder when summoned by Kemuel.
- Empathy - Nathaniel can sense the emotions of mortals.
- Invisibility - Nathaniel can become invisible to humans.
- Memory Manipulation - Nathaniel is able to erase, restore, alter, and fabricate memories in the minds of humans.
- Soul Reading/Channeling - Nathaniel is able to physically interact with and read a human's soul by literally placing his hand inside a person's chest. However, the process is a painful experience for the human and could leave a person with physical and mental damage. He can also use the soul as a source of energy, but the pain is even greater for the human, and there is the risk of an explosion if he is not careful.
- Power Negation - Nathaniel is capable of removing psychic powers from human beings permanently. However, the process is very painful and can leave the person mentally-damaged.
- Vessel Locking - Nathaniel can hold a demon in smoke form as if it was tangible and force the demon to return to its vessel.
- Power Granting - He gave himself and Raziel the ability to play the guitar, sing, and speak French.
Physical Appearance[]
Nathaniel has large wings that are shown to be very sharp. His wings are Gold, his halo is red, and his angelic eye colour (like all angels in heaven) are a bright blue. In his original vessel, Nathaniel has shaggy brown hair, He is noted by other characters to be handsome. Nathaniel is very tall, 6'4" having a muscular build with broad shoulders and a muscular chest, he also has green eyes that sometimes appear to be brown. He also wore Angelic knight armor, but now when he's seen in this form he wears regular clothes. In his new vessel, he wears a leather jacket, a dark blue work shirt with his sleeves rolled up, a gray long sleeve shirt that's got three buttons in which he's got buttoned down as well as rolled up, dog tags with both his name and his vessel's name, dark blue jeans, and black military boots, and a watch. He's got green eyes, and Isn't all that muscular or tall, being only 5'10". He's got long blonde hair that goes down to his neck and is parted to left as to not get in his eyes. He also sometimes wears combat gloves. In his true Angelic form, it is unknown what it looks like, but what is known is that it's "approximately the size of your Chrysler Building" in height. In the 15th century, he had another vessel in order to take down a rogue angel. This vessel was female and had brownish blonde hair and green, he also wore what a woman of that era wore.
Weaknesses[]
Nathaniel is an extremely powerful being, but everyone has their weaknesses and these are is as well as just about all angels.
- Angelic Exorcism - There is an exorcism chant to expel angels from their human vessels and send them back to heaven.
- Angel banishing sigil - This sigil is capable of banishing angels, even an archangel.
- Angel Depowering Sigil - A sigil capable of depowering an angel.
- Angel Imprisoning Sigil - It could temporarily imprison them. When imprisoned, they can lose their powers temporarily. The sigil also block any sound from inside of the warded room to be heard by any angels in outside of the room.
- Angel Proofing Sigil - It prevents an angel from entering a room, or listening sounds coming from inside.
- Angel trap - It's another way to trap angels besides Holy Fire.
- Angel Suppressing Sigil - It is used to give control of a vessel to the human the angel is inhabiting.
- Angel Ward - Angel wards are enochian-based symbols that prevent the entry of an angel from a certain location.
- Archangel Blades - An archangel blade can kill any angel, including an archangel. However, it must be wielded by another archangel to kill an archangel.
- Death's Scythe - This weapon is capable of killing angels.
- Energy Focusing Sigil - This spell can kill any angel directly in the path of the exploding angel, atomizing any angels nearby and killing anything else while blowing the whole area up.
- Falling - Falling from Heaven can be fatal to angels.
- Higher Angels - Stronger angels can overpower a weaker Angel. Archangels are capable of easily killing lower angels with their own power.
- Lucifer's Cage - Nathaniel spent a year in Lucifer's cage after he threw himself and Lucifer into the cage. He could not escape as the cage was designed to contain a Archangel. He was later set free by Hannah making a deal with God.
